Description
This is a beautiful barred olivine type micrometeorite from space, only 0.25mm in size. That’s thinner than a human hair! You will see intricate crystallization patterns across the surface, with various crystal domains meeting and forming borders, and shiny dots of magnetite throughout. This micrometeorite was found on the roof of what was The Rudyard Kipling bar in Louisville, KY.
